Monday blue, no?

Today is Monday. Monday blues yeah but well at least there isn't school for JC students today, life is good today although we're supposed to study for prelim but this chinese book that caught my eyes through a recommendation from a friend. When I first know the the title I was like what - if I do a direct translation it's like "give me a cigarette" so I wondering what hit was talking about. But it's just like the normal love novel, saying about love.
About how this guy fall in love with this lady working in the club and they started with the girl asking a cigarette from him and how much obstacles they went through to reach the end. Quite drama though.

However, I felt what the author shared regarding the moral of the story is rather interesting and meaningful:

　　我不知道这个世界上生活着多少个叶子，也不知道她们能不能碰到自己生命中的李海涛，我只是希望能通过《给我一只烟》提醒一些朋友——不要短视，其实生活给每个人的都一样多，你要为人生选择和决定负责，如果万一走错路，那不论什么时候都要有勇气头。

　　善待自己，才能无愧无悔地面对人生。

She meant, we shouldn't be short-sighted, we have to be responsible for the decision we make. If we make a mistake and walk the wrong path, we will need the courage to follow through.

We have to be nice to ourselves before we can face others without guilt and regrets.

Oh well I'm not supposed to be reading now and finished the whole book today, economics paper on Wednesday. Doom.
